A whole world of bread

Bake the Most of Life is an educational programme by Warburtons, to support teachers, parents and young people through a range of teaching resources and competitions that can be used in the classroom and beyond.

Warburtons Bake the Most of Life was developed to follow the core values, tone of voice and personality of the core Warburtons brand but needed to engage young learners across the UK. Working with the team at We Are Futures I developed a visual style for the programme to help reach this key audience. 
A range of brand fonts and colours were already in use in the Warburtons brand, to which I added illustration elements and unique characters to bring this playful programme to life, with a styleguide to aid future delivery.
I created a suite of expressive characters by combining photographs of real Warburtons products with simple illustrated features. This gave us a range of friendly faces to help deliver the educational content to a young audience. 
The use of illustration elements, bread characters and bold type (along with many a bread-pun) provides a recognisable but flexible identity to deliver the range of Bake the Most of Life materials.
